For The Love of Sweet Potatoes

We have recently started feeding baby Robbie sweet potatoes in addition to the rice cereal he was already eating. Robs was home earlier than normal today and had the opportunity to feed him his dinner. As you can see by the pictures they both enjoyed feeding time. We both cherish the moments we have with our 'little' boy so much. He is growing up so fast. He will be 6 months old in April...can you believe it? I have a hard time with the fact that he is growing older. I wish he could stay this way for a little longer than he will, but I guess growing up is the way things go. I read a quote that I really liked and it says, "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." I have decided that this is a very true statement. I love being a mom! It is truly the best thing ever.

Georgia Love and Birthday suprises!!

I flew to Georgia with baby Robbie on the 26th to surprise my dad for his 62nd birthday. Could they make traveling through an airport with an infant anymore painful? I don't think so. Dad was shocked to see us and the surprise could not have been sweeter. We have spent the week with Grandpa and Grammy doing family things. Grandpa has a hard time putting baby R down. Grammy has to take him when she can get him. I don't think life gets any sweeter for a grandparent than having their little ones near.
